Inger Agger (1943 - 2024)

Founding Member

Inger had a PhD and was a licensed clinical psychologist and a Senior Expert and NIAS Associate of the Nordic Institute of Asian Studies in Copenhagen. Lastly, she concluded a research project in Cambodia in which she explored local Buddhist approaches to healing of violence-related trauma. Dr. Agger worked extensively with the development of the testimonial method as acknow- ledgement and healing of violence-related distress.
