Erik upholds a Master in Geography and International Development Studies. In his professional career of more than 25 years he has contributed to planning and execution of development projects and programs. He has theoretical and practical experience in devising participatory and people’s-oriented programming for poverty alleviation and securing equal rights. Working and living in Asia for almost two decades he has sufficient experience to be able to understand the prospects for successes and also avoiding the numerous pitfalls in the organised struggle against violence and torture.

Erik’s role at Nunca Más is to contribute in the formulation and appraisal phase of project proposals in close cooperation with our South partners. He is also involved in updating our project cycle management and in ensuring that we use the best human rights based practices and full-fill all requirements and guidelines of our donors.
